If you want to improve your nutrition and health, you've come to the right place! All the information out there can get confusing. Do I eat Paleo? Vegan? Drink this magic tea? I can help you cut through the BS so you can use your time and brain power for something better! What will you find here? In my blog are recipes (with a focus on protein), reviews, and dietitian tips. In addition, I will (very soon) offer personalized nutrition, meal plans, and coaching.
Who am I, and why should you listen to me? I'm Bonnie, and my dog is Clyde. I am a Registered Dietitian and have my masters in nutrition from Bastyr University with a focus on whole food nutrition, and my bachelors in Math from Illinois State University. I have gone to many conferences, including the Fitness Summit and a sports nutrition conference and keep up on the latest research.
Now that I've gotten my qualifications out of the way, I can talk more about what I do for fun! I love to swing dance (Lindy Hop), and have been doing it for about 8 years now. I live in the Seattle area, and enjoy the nature and character the city has to offer. As far as the gym goes, I lift weights and do cardio in group fitness classes. I also love to cook and adapt recipes to suit my needs.
I can help you reach your goals, whether that's weight loss, muscle gain, or conduct an elimination diet to discover sources of gastrointestinal distress! I have several coaching options, and can work with you 1 on 1. If you aren't ready for 1 on 1 coaching, subscribe to my Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram for recipes, reviews, tips, and more!
